Instructor

4th dan Goju Ryu Karatedo Seiwakai, 4th dan JKF Goju Kai

Started her training in September of 1992 in Sydney. Malwina trained up to 15 classes per week (whilst completing her studies). She was awarded her shodan in 1996 and nidan in 1998. Malwina spent many years as sempai to Rod Martin before travelling to the UK in 1997, they were married in 1999.

Malwina was an excellent tournament competitor. She won the National All Styles (NAS) NSW state competition many times and was very successful in many other competitions. Malwina was the Australian Kata Champion in both 1995 and 1996 (undefeated).

Malwina continued to train and teach throughout the UK between 1997 and 2005 when they relocated to Brisbane. Even with two children, Maia and Oliver, Malwina has continued to train and teach.

Malwina travelled to Japan in 2010 and was awarded yondan by Fujiwara Shihan of Goju Ryu Seiwakai.

She was then awarded her 4th dan in the All Japan Karatedo Federation Gojukai in Tokyo, 2011, making her one of the most highly decorated women Karateka in Australia.

Malwina is well known for her excellent technique and form, she is an instructor par excellence with a powerful, if almost overwhelming, eye for detail.
