The conception vessel (also known as the ‘Ren Vessel’) runs down the centre line on the front side of the body. CV22 is located in the ‘v’ shaped notch of between the two collar bones at the base of the neck on the conception vessel.

Only a small amount of force is necessary to stimulate this point and is best struck with the soft, fleshy section of the hand between the thumb and fingers in a thrusting motion. Striking provokes the gag reflex and will induce difficulty in breathing, also irritating the voice box.
